is pacv -m basis dependent?

is the output from pacv -m always the matrix that acts on (I Q U V) or is it the matrix that acts on the stokes vector? The latter would make it basis dependent e.g. for a file in the circular basis it would be the matrix that acts on (I V Q U)

The latter; that is, the none of the basis convention transformations as summarized in Equation 16 of van Straten et al. (2010) are included in the Mueller matrix output using pacv -m.
